With responsibility and civilization, WAC lights up extraordinary spaces with museum-level lighting!

Chongqing Regent Hotel

The lighting design of Regent Hotel tries to show more traditional Chinese aesthetics and culture, through the unobtrusive, soft and elegant light to make each independent space according to the human activities connected. Light makes a new fit between people and space.

Hotel lobby

Entering the lobby, different functional areas are separated by traditional Chinese screens, and the contrast between light and dark creates a traditional sense of spatial order. Through the planning and arrangement of brightness throughout the space, the eyes naturally lead visitors into the depths of the house.

Dining room

The hotel's all-day dining restaurant is located next to the Jialing River and is an excellent viewing spot. However, the huge floor-to-ceiling glass usually reflects indoor light sources, causing trouble for night view viewing. To this end, designers pay special attention to controlling the brightness on the vertical surface, especially avoiding the use of lamps with overly bright luminous surfaces, and minimizing the number of lamps. For this purpose, WAC Lighting’s ELANA Pro series downlights specially designed for hotels were specially selected. Its patented hidden light technology and excellent light emission effect solve this problem very well. Ultimately, it provides a nighttime light environment that blends inside and outside, creating an opportunity for visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery on the other side.

Lobby Bar

In order to meet the operational requirements of 8m floor height and adjustment of table placement, the lobby bar and all-day dining restaurant use state-of-the-art LED remote-controlled lamps. The light is accurately projected onto every tabletop, every piece of art, and every group of food display racks, whetting your appetite. At the same time, the energy consumption of the entire area has also been significantly reduced compared with traditional designs.

Public corridor

In the banquet hall and conference hall, the designer used a lot of diffuse reflection and indirect light to provide visitors with an extraordinarily soft and relaxing space. Through clever handling of lighting nodes and the selection of lamps with good anti-glare properties, there is almost no visual interference in the main directions.

Bird shaped statue

The design team presented the classic cultural relic "Bird-shaped Zun" unearthed in Bayu at the entrance of the Chinese restaurant with a modern aesthetic design. The lighting designer uses low-color-temperature diffuse light to create an ambient atmosphere, while using high-color-temperature lights to maximize the crystal clearness of this crystal artwork. At the same time, the bright light directed towards the artwork is deliberately avoided from the direction of approach of visitors.

Public rest area

In different spaces, the traditional decorative element "screen" partition has been used many times by interior designers. Lighting designers can well express the order between spaces by balancing the light brightness in each area. At the same time, many semi-private exclusive spaces are naturally formed.

Guest room

The lighting design of the guest room area pays special attention to friendly guest experience and comfortable living experience. The lighting scene in the bedroom is preset by the designer to meet the different situational needs of the residents. Touch the scene button marked "Soft" to open the curtains, and guests can enjoy the gorgeous night view of Hongya Cave on the other side of the Jialing River. It is worth mentioning that the lighting in all guest rooms and rest areas is also created by the ELANA Pro series. Its unique hidden light technology brings guests a tranquil and far-reaching experience.
