Nanjing Museum

Today's Nanjing Museum hall imitation Liao dynasty palace style, designed by the famous architect Xu Jing straight, modified by the architect Liang Sicheng, details and decorations both take the Tang and Song dynasty legacy, the whole hall majestic, is a modern masterpiece of architectural history, but also a landmark building of the South Museum.

As far as the eye can see, there are colored pottery from Dadunzi in Pizhou City, bronzes from the Western Zhou and Spring and Autumn Periods unearthed in Yizheng, Dantu, and Liuhe, golden beasts of the Warring States unearthed in Xuyi, silver wisps of jade garments and the "Seal of the King of Guangling" unearthed from the tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty lords and princes in Xuzhou and Yangzhou. The gold seal of "Guangling King's Seal", he celadon porcelains and brick murals of "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove and the Rongqi Period" from the Six Dynasties period around Nanjing and Danyang, as well as the ceramic figurines of dancers from the two mausoleums of the Southern Tang Dynasty in Zutang Mountain, Nanjing, are all highly valued by domestic and foreign academics.
