The "two axes" refer to the 330-meter-longnorth-south art corridor and the 200-meter-long east-west axis connected by the west hall, central hall and east hall; the "one area" refers to the intangible cultural heritage exhibition area on the first basement level. The design reflects the symmetry of traditional Chinese culture.
